Rental Terms and Conditions

AUTHORIZED DRIVER

The rented vehicle may only be driven by the person(s) whose name(s) are stated in the Rental Agreement and Vehicle Delivery Form.
If the vehicle is driven by third parties not specified in these documents,
all insurance coverages shall become null and void, and any damages arising therefrom shall not be covered.

An additional driver may be registered by contacting our branches. A maximum of one (1) additional driver may be added per vehicle. The minimum age and driver’s license duration requirements applicable to the selected vehicle group also apply to additional drivers.


VEHICLE PICK-UP REQUIREMENTS

In order to pick up the reserved vehicle, the renter must have and present the following documents at the time of delivery:

  1. A valid Driver’s License issued by the authorized authorities of the Republic of Türkiye (for Turkish citizens)

  2. A credit card issued in the name of the renter (two credit cards may be required for certain vehicle groups)

  3. For Turkish citizens residing abroad or foreign nationals:

    • A valid driver’s license

    • The original passport showing the most recent entry into Türkiye, with an entry stamp issued within the last 6 months prior to the rental end date

At WindyCar branches, payments are processed via 3D Secure-supported V-POS electronic payment systems approved by contracted banks. Therefore, the credit card used during rental must be enabled for online transactions.

Failure to meet the above requirements or failure to present the driver’s license and credit card at the time of delivery shall result in non-delivery of the vehicle, even if a reservation exists. In such cases, cancellation and refund rules shall apply and no refund shall be issued.


FUEL POLICY

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of delivery.
If returned with missing fuel, the fuel cost plus a
service fee shall be charged.
No refund shall be made for vehicles returned with excess fuel.


ONE-WAY RENTALS

The vehicle may be returned to a branch different from the pick-up location. In such cases, a one-way rental fee shall be charged.


CROSS-BORDER USE

Vehicle insurance coverage is not valid outside the Republic of Türkiye.
The rented vehicle may only be operated
within the borders of Türkiye.


RENTAL PERIOD

Vehicles are rented for a minimum of 24 hours on a daily basis and 30 days on a monthly basis.


EXTENSION OF RENTAL PERIOD

If the renter wishes to extend the rental period beyond the contract date, the renter must contact the branch and obtain approval.
Failure to extend the rental period and returning the vehicle late shall result in
late return fees charged at 100% surcharge.


EARLY RETURN

If the renter wishes to return the vehicle earlier than the agreed date, the branch must be contacted.
Deductions may apply in accordance with
reservation cancellation and modification rules.


NO SHOW

The reserved vehicle will be held at the branch for 60 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time.
If the vehicle is not picked up within this period, availability
cannot be guaranteed.

To avoid losing the vehicle guarantee in case of delay, the renter must contact the branch and complete payment.
In No Show cases, even if payment has been made, the reservation shall be
cancelled without refund after 4 hours.


INSURANCE & COVERAGES

Insurance coverage may vary depending on pricing and campaigns.
The vehicle is covered by
100% comprehensive insurance (CASCO). Optional additional coverages include:

  • Mini Damage Waiver (CDW):
    Covers unilateral damages up to
    TRY 15,000 without official report, based on declaration.

  • Super Mini Damage Waiver (SCDW):
    Covers unilateral damages up to
    TRY 25,000, plus non-CASCO items such as tires.

  • Tire, Glass & Headlight Coverage (LCF):
    Covers 1 tire, 1 windshield, or 1 headlight based on declaration.

  • Extended Third-Party Liability Insurance:
    Additional
    TRY 1,000,000 coverage beyond mandatory traffic insurance limits.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

In order for insurance to remain valid in case of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved, and the traffic police or gendarmerie must be notified to obtain an accident report and alcohol test report.

For multi-vehicle accidents resulting only in material damage, a Material Damage Accident Report may be prepared if parties agree.

In case of theft, the incident must be reported to the police, a theft report must be obtained, and the vehicle key must be returned to the lessor.


AGE & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age and driver’s license duration requirements vary by vehicle group and are displayed on the reservation page.
Compliance with these requirements is the
renter’s responsibility.


MILEAGE LIMITS

Daily and monthly mileage limits vary by vehicle group and are displayed on the reservation page.
Excess mileage charges apply as follows:

  • Economy segment: TRY 4 per km

  • Mid segment: TRY 5 per km

  • Upper segment: TRY 6 per km

For daily rentals, the maximum mileage per agreement equals the monthly mileage limit of the selected vehicle group.


EXTRA 1000 KM PACKAGE

  • Economy: EUR 50 (TRY equivalent)

  • Mid Segment: EUR 60 (TRY equivalent)

  • Upper Segment: EUR 70 (TRY equivalent)


SECURITY DEPOSIT

Security deposit amounts vary by vehicle group and are charged to the renter’s credit card during rental.
Deposit amounts may vary depending on
Findeks score and financial status.

Provided the vehicle is returned without damage, the deposit shall be fully refunded within a maximum of 26 business days.

A credit card registered in the renter’s name is mandatory. Rentals cannot be made using third-party credit cards.


FINDEKS CHECK

A Findeks credit score inquiry is conducted during rental.
If the renter’s Findeks score is insufficient or if permission is not granted, the rental
cannot be completed, and no refund shall be issued.


CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION POLICY

1. Early Reservation Campaigns

Only rental start date/time may be shortened. No refunds apply.

2. Prepaid Reservations

Vehicle group changes are allowed.
Cancellations made
48 hours or more before rental start are fully refunded.
Cancellations within
48 hours are non-refundable.

3. Pay-at-Office Reservations

No cancellation or modification fee applies.
Refunds for paid reservations are processed
1 month after cancellation for security reasons.

Failure to meet age, license, or credit card requirements despite a prepaid reservation shall be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and no refund shall be issued.
